Young Back Door 25/04/09

Ran my First Ever couple of childrens workshops at Northlights Yesterday. I really did enjoy it and it seemed the kids did too - they came up with some great results as you can see from the examples below. They made paper puppets/dolls that were magnetised and painted their own background boards that i'd previously painted with magnetic paint. It was wonderful to see what different and surprising styles they all had. It was quite a challenging day but rewarding - I shall definately do it again. I just want to say a big thankyou to Amy for helping me out :)

Looks like a really good time was had by all!! Teaching kids is great, isn't it... You have me fired up to start up some kids classes down here in Devon. Good luck with the art fair in Leeds
