These are AMAZING! Your lamps are too. Without giving away any of your techniques, could you tell me what the lamps are made of? I'm just trying to get a sense of durability. Have you shipped to the US yet? Have you thought about doing similarly with these two? What a thing! Great work. Thank you,

Diane

Hi Diane, Only just spotted your comment. Thankyou. The Lampshades are made of paper but much more durable than you'd expect. Coated matt paper is printed with fade resistant inks, laquered with UV protective varnish (which is spongeable and dust resistant) and backed with sturdy fire-retardent PVC. The edges are then bound and finished with velvet ribbon. I have shipped small shades to USA and Canada (shipping the bigger sizes is proving too expensive). Regards shipping paintings- as these are more valuable items its worth the shipping fee so I usually cover most of it as people overseas dont have chance to buy my work from galleries. Thanks for your interest Diane. Best wishes K.

Thanks for the time and thought adding the info, Kate. I've said it before, but I very much like these particular pieces. Peace and continued good things for you in work and in life.
